Finally!!

I was over at Beauty Addict this morning, and found out that the ban on carrying gels and liquids aboard flights has now been modified. Items under 3 oz. can be carried on board, assuming they can all fit inside a 1 quart ziplock bag. Read The Addict's helpful summary here.

The new rules have taken effect for flights out of both Canada and the US. The UK (THANK GOD!) and the rest of Europe are expected to follow suit in a few weeks.

Most importantly:

"... tests carried out by FBI ... have established that tiny amounts of substances cannot blow up an airliner."

Whew! Score one for SCIENCE.

(Yes, I'm posting. Again. Hey, this is important! Plus, I woke up at 6:30 to do homework. And now I'm going to go read a chapter on models (the boring kind). See? Hard at work!)

Thank God! Now we can use lip balm on the plane. Until someone tries to make a bomb out of it. Then we'll have to sneak it in in more unsavory ways.

Ewww.....

But a lipbalm bomb (lipbomb!) is a great idea. Everyone will have deliciously moisturized lips! It's the key to world peace, I tell ya.
