"New Feats of Amazing Agility Demonstrated!"

... as the Glitterati manages to kick herself in both the head AND the ass, ALL AT ONCE!!

So, due to some sort of crazy drauma (it's like drama + trauma, get it? Yay me!) that occurred over the weekend, I forgot to stalk TicketMaster like a crazy drooling person so that I could buy tickets for the Toronto SYTYCD show the very instant their little clock flicked from 09:59:999 to 10:00:00 on Saturday morning.

And now it's all sold out and tickets from other sources are selling for like eleventy-bajillion dollars, and I am sad and foolish. Sad and foolish!!!

Maybe I'll make nice to some scalpers the day of the show. Or maybe they'll add an extra date. Or move to a bigger venue. Or maybe I'll just keep watching Vixen's videos of darling Benji and simper into my soggy tissue.

Oh, also, sorry for not posting. This week looks way more promising in terms of having time to do so. Hope you're all just fine and dandy out frolicking in the blogosphere!

Love,
~G

Hey!
I just found your blog and I really like it! The reviews are good and it's nice to have a blogger from Toronto so I know that the products are almost always regularly available!

I have a suggestion to spruce up reviews a little: take pictures of the products you're talking about. I mean, if you have a camera phone or a digicam, it could be possible, right? I mean, when I read your Almay foundation review, I was thinking "wow, I want to see what the foundation actually looks like RIGHT NOW." you know?

Alrite well keep up the great work!

JaNeal: Ack! Our tears shall mingle from across the distance. Although I guess that's a pretty decent excuse.... hopefully you remembered to celebrate your anniversary though! Congrats, by the way!!!

Henna: Welcome! And thanks so much for reading, I especially love that you're a fellow Torontonian!

That's a great idea about posting pics! I don't have a camera, but Roomie does, and she is the best, so maybe she'll let me use it sometime. (Er... she's the best even if she doesn't let me use it, of course.)

Oh oh oh, now I just got all excited about what the Almay pic could have been... like, you would be able to sort of SEE it transition from white speckled fluid to flesh tone right on my hand. Darn it, now I want to buy a camera!! :) (Does that mean I'm a blog addict? That I want to spend a couple hundred bucks to make my blogging experience more fun???)

Thanks again for visiting and commenting!

Out of interest, how much were the ticket prices BEFORE they ended up on eBay? (I had a look on eBay.com - freaking holy maccas, man.. those tix are selling for hundreds of dollars!)

I rather resent ticket scalpers. They should have limited ticket purchases to say 4 per person, and specified that you had to provide a name for each ticket sale. It looks as if people have bought ten tix, and are selling eight of them on eBay at MASSIVE profits.

I'm all for making a living, but there's something dishonest about ticket scalping.

Erin: I know hey! How can they sleep at night, knowing that poor souls like us now have to face the horrible decision of whether to make rent, or go see Benji in action? I think they were $45-$65 before... so not exactly cheap, but definitely affordable, much more so than the hundreds they're asking now.

That's a disgusting mark-up on the tickets! But... I'd still be tempted, even if I didn't make rent! hehe :)

Ah well - I'm sure we'll see a lot more of the dancers over time, particularly as this season was much more popular and high-profile than last year's!

Ooh, anyway - save your pennies.. early next year we'll be able to buy Benji and Heidi (Henji anyone?) DVDs!! Dance instructional DVDs!! :D:D:D

That's more Benji for you dollar! And you can hit rewind ;) (I always lament the lack of a rewind button in live performances ;)

Hen-ji! Hen-ji! Hen-ji! Hen-ji!!!

That's it, I'm learning how to swing dance in the new year, and I don't care if I have to use my pillow as a partner. Unless Roomie's dogs feel like playing???
