Which JERKSTORE* invented time zones?!?!
I am an unhappy bunny. Tonight... the night of part one of the sure-to-be-magnificent season finale... is the night when I get in too late (thanks the the Alberta/Ontario time difference) to watch the show.
Boooo!!! That's not cool. But at least it's not the FINALE finale. And I may yet take up CW's offer of taping it for me and sending it over!
Yikes, time to go, enjoy the show!

Thanks to the miracles of time-shifting, if you boogie home you should still be able to catch it. I would expect the late showing to be at 11 or 12...
Glitterati, didn't tape the CTV one, was going to tape the fox one and then we had power out thanks to a pretty vicious thunderstorm. Hopefully it will be found on You Tube.
My thoughts:
Travis and Donyelle: so so, I thought there Viennese/vietnamese walz was good but not kapow and there's no chemistry between them.
Travis and Benji (Tranji) - Rocked, loved there geek hip hop.
Danielle and Heidi - What was with the long white fake eyelashes, it was alright but no snap.
Heidi and Benji - Hello, they are always awesome.
Heidi and Travis - Excellent!
The 4 together: Excellent.
It sucks that we Canadians can't vote.
Does anyone else have the feeling that this show should've ended 2 weeks ago?
The dancers look BEAT UP. They're so damned tired and it's showing up in Donyelle but also the repetitiveness of Heidi and even Benji's solos.
Costuming SUCKED tonite. Couldn't believe the white eyelashes. Bad, bad choice and it offered a distraction from the dancing.
I think Travis is going to win either way. He has an offer from Mia to work regardless.
I wish Benji would just focus on being the new Fred Astaire. He dances swell with Heidi, but he needs to branch out.
Anon - you're so right! They really are slowing down.. and it was even obvious in last week's show (I've not got last night's yet).
Actually, I popped on here to show my lameness. I'm feeling slightly shameful, and a little proud - I was watching Disney's 'High School Musical', and spotted Allison (Holker) in a crowd of people as a dancing cheerleader. It was her hair that caught my eye ;)
*grins sheepishly*
Yes, I know I'm 25. I know it. But I love Disney. I can't help myself!! *g*
Roomie: Hi!!! Sadly, I missed the time-shifted one too. Alas! But thanks for letting me know!
CW: Oh, no problem. I managed to find a few clips. I only wish I could have seen the Tranji rehearsal footage! I could feel the fangirl sisterhood uniting through the ether even when I was watching it online. And I thought Heidi & Travis (well, mostly Heidi) did the best disco routine the show has seen yet. AND THE BROUGHT SEXY BACK, OH BABY!!! :)
Anon: Yikes, I'm glad I missed the white eyelashes. Looks like the costume designers are running out of steam too! Maybe it's because I keep missing Benji's solos, but I think he's done the best job out of all of them at keeping it fresh. (Unlike Travis -- while always brilliant, all I ever see are pirouettes.) Like I said though, I've missed so many solos that I'm not sure I can really comment intelligently on them...
ErinofScotland: Yes!! I LOVE those Blast from the Past spottings! I'll sometimes watch a movie specifically because I heard some random celebrity was an extra on it, before they were famous and before they had good hair. And how spastic was I when I found out that Wentworth Miller played none other than the hilariously evil male cheerleader on the now defunct Popular? I loved you before Mariah did, Wentworth!!!
I can't even tell you how much Disney channel I watched in Orlando. Hannah Montana, The Suite Life..., even that dastardly Hilary Duff show. I was saying "Oh, that's SO Raven" for WEEKS, I don't know why.
JaNeal: Big raving hugs to you!! 300x? Wow! Thanks for speaking up for those of us in the Great White North & beyond! :D I have yet to watch Benji & Heidi's clip, but like you, I wait with baited breath for the results next week! Go Benji Go!!
I have always loved musicals. I am much older than some of you, but when I was a kid --before cable-- they used to play old movies constantly. I always loved watching Fred Astaire movies.
So go ahead and watch High School musical. HOW FUN! The musical is a great theatre form and I hope in next year's "So you think..." they'll
1. get rid of disco (SUCKS)
2. have some routines with tap --yes, this means that people will have to do other things than writhe on the floor.
3. get beyond hip hop and start combining it with tap.
Well, I don't know who is going to win. But they gott a pull the plug on the show quickly. I'm beginning to feel Donyelle's broken toe!
Anon: Oh, it'd be awesome if they had Tap on there! I mean, no tappers made it through this round (but that really young guy almost did), but there were many seemingly great ones from the audition footage, and they'd be at a disadvantage if there was no tap element in the show. I love how the show exposes people to all sorts of dance -- musical/broadway, emo... er, I mean contemporary, swing, ballroom... there's so much out there!
