I was laughing so hard.
Because I think I heard every straight girl and gay guy, and possibly some of the rest, in the western hemishpere make little gurgling noises and squeals of awe and appreciation. Or maybe really loud ones, but, the same noise across the board. Gotta save the best for last!! And Benji and Donyelle are the best, hands down and crawling across the floor after Benji...
BRG: There is no better reason to skip work, in my opinion! In fact, your boss should PAY you.
CW: Yesss! Another one joins the cult! ;) I'll register as soon as I've wiped all this drool off my chin. Which could take a while.
But more importantly, yay new hair!!! It looks SO good!!!
Jennifer: Why would I be mad? But oh yeah, those 2 have got the red-blooded girl and giddy gay guy markets CORNERED. And we know that those are the only people who watch this show anyway! ;)
I just have to say that I adore Donyelle. I was a little worried that this partner thing would get boring, but I like the chemistry and teamwork it creates. I also think the producers knew that Benji and Donyelle would be favorites when they put them together. She seems so amazing and graceful and elegant. It's almost unfair to the rest of the contestants.
I'm not sure what America's fascination is with Ben and Ashlee, though...

BRG, I completely agree. I don't think anyone could ask for a better pairing. Neither of them are 'typically' attractive (like Natalie & Musa, etc.) but they're adorable, and their personalities plus their dynamic propel them to cult-worship status.
But did you SEE Benji's stroking Donyelle's shoulders? Maybe... maybe Benji is just one of those touchy-feely people. Whatever, they are SO together. In all seriousness, that is one coupling I would get behind with pom-poms waving. LOVE them!
I don't really get Ben & Ashlee either. Maybe they're getting the emo vote, because Ben has such flop-tastic hair? I do think they improved marvelously from their first performance though.

I don't think they are together. From all the time that I've 'known' both of them (you know, a total of half an hour of carefully edited video) I'd guess that he's just touchy-feely and she is really serious about dancing.
You must have known the type in High School. You have theater people in Canada, right? They form tight groups, drink too much Red Bull and are overly dramatic about everything? Part of all that is definitely being touchy feely -- it has something to do with the stage lights combining with the caffine and intermingling with costume changes.
I think he's still yours...or rather mine. ;)
Well, I'm just sayin'... sometimes dancers need to be with other dancers, and if I had to lose gracefully to someone (other than you, of course), I'd most rather it be Donyelle.
But yeah, those crazy Drama kids. They make me wary... I mean, I'm all for hugs, but do we need to be on each other ALL the time? It's like they're grooming each other for ticks sometimes. Maybe I'm just not cool enough to get it.
Here's to the Benji's affections still flying free in the wind. Towards our general direction!
