Sleepover!
Wheeee! Tonight is the season finale of ANTM, and my pals and I are having a good ol' fashioned sleepover in honour of the event. I am trucking my crapload of makeup over there, and shall attempt to co-erce my friends into letting me doll them up.
In other news, I apparently have 2/3 of a small suitcase of makeup that I deem presentable enough to be used on friends. And that's not counting any hair and body stuff. Yikes.
Oh, and here's a random tip -- unless you've fallen absolutely crazy in love with a nail-polish colour, why shell out the big bucks for the high-end stuff? Drugstore lines have loads of variety in colour, and you can often create exactly the shade you want by layering 2 polishes. As for staying power, just buy a high-end topcoat (I like OPI) to go over your cheapie colour. It totally works -- my Sally Hansen "Hard As Nails" + Rimmel pedicure lasted for weeks this way!
Alright, off to the party. Go Renée! And please stop calling yourself Néné!

Brilliant tip my friend.
I am beside myself that Jaslene won, I think I would have picked Natasha over Jaslene. Poor Renne, the industry is tough on those who don't like there 18.
Renee was Robbed! :( I think they just didn't want to have 2 blondes in a row win. As if they would have waited this long to bring up her "oldness" if they really thought it was a problem. I WAS very very excited to see CariDee back though!
As for Jas... I guess I'm ok w/ it because Natasha's giant fish lips and her scary toothy grin frightens me. I love how even though they were shooting ads for lipstick, all of their lips looked HIDEOUS during the commercial. (Well, Jaslene's wasn't so bad, but her awful print shot made up for it.) So much for matching 97% of skintones, huh?

Have you tried Seche Vite? It changed my life when it came to nail polish, no lie. I used to use that OPI top coat but it took FOREVER to dry; forget about using it at night thanks to sheet marks!
Hey Asian Girl, thanks for visiting! LOL, it's kinda hilarious to see how I used to be all "drugstore polish!" when just yesterday I plunked down full retail for Essie's Greenport.
I totally agree, the OPI coat takes ages to dry. I used to use their Drip Dri (moderately better) but then graduated to Poshe and haven't looked back. As you say, it's definitely a life-changing experience. I'm ordering some Seche with my next Head2Toe haul, so I can compare and contrast! :)
